George the Turtle is very cute and doesn’t take up much yarn and won’t take long to make.
He was designed by Samantha Boreham and here’s what she has to say.
I’m a mum of two little people based in the UK, and they provide most of my inspiration. I’ve been crocheting for just over two years, when I needed a new hobby to keep me entertained whilst my first baby who had severe reflux slept on me. I started with toys, and still mostly make toys. Almost straight away I started tweaking patterns to make them more suited to what I wanted, before moving onto making my own.
However George the turtle is my first complete toy pattern I’ve written up he came about when I wanted to make a small toy for my then one year old – we’d been to the aquarium and had been fascinated by them. I couldn’t find a small, quick pattern I liked so I made George.
The Cal is only 1 part and you can find the pattern on the 13th February 2018 at 10am just click on Samantha’s blog link below.
