Twisted Dreams Sweater CAL

Comfort and style, that’s what you’re going to get with Micki Devlin’s (Mim’s Designs) Twisted Dreams sweater.  It’s perfect for those chilly fall days when you want to be warm but still look your best.  Wear it with jeans or wear it with leggings, this is the sweater that you’re going to grab time and time again.

We’re so excited that Micki decided to share Twisted Dreams as a CAL.  When she first set out to create a sweater she knew it had to have some specific requirements.  First she wanted something that would ultimately drape well, and she wanted something that would look great on all body types.  It had to be easy to make…something you could work on while you were watching tv.   It also had to keep her snuggly and warm.  Twisted Dreams is all those things and more!

The sweater is made using the virus stitch pattern which is one of Micki’s favorites.  She used a DK yarn which creates a lovely drape.

The CAL will be 3 parts beginning on October 22, 2018 at noon CST/CDT and 6:00 pm GMT on Micki’s Ravelry page, Mims Designs.  You will have two weeks to complete part 2 and the CAL will wrap up on November 5th.  That should give you plenty of time to to choose your yarn.  Micki also will provide information on sizing your sweater so it fits you perfectly!  She has posted an official intro to the CAL on Ravelry…check it out for more details on yarn, yardage, etc.

The CAL is being hosted by us, the CAL – Crochet A Long Facebook Group.  Head over there to sign up for the event today!
