Today’s square is brought to you by our own Micki Devlin of Mims Designs! Micki has been an admin with our CAL team for quite some time and is an integral part of our testing team. She also created the Twisted Dreams sweater which was featured as a CAL last year.
Micki, of Yorkshire, England, is a busy mum of 4 who learned to knit and crochet as a child. Without having patterns readily available she made up designs for her dolls and pets. Like so many of us, life got in the way of her crocheting and she dropped it for awhile but now she is back to it stronger than ever. Micki is one of the most prolific crocheters I know!
A Stitch in Time was created using some of Micki’s favorite stitches. She loves the textural stitches and the different ways you can use them. It’s like painting a picture in stitches!

Important Additional Pattern Info
Don’t forget you will need to add an extra three rounds to your square to achieve the final 48 st/side count which is necessary for joining. You can find the instructions for all squares here. Translations for these additional rounds can be found here. The extra rounds will vary slightly from week to week because the squares vary in ending stitch counts so be sure to follow the directions for each square.
I know you’re going to love how this square works up. Can’t wait to see them all!
Until next week!
