Ready???Sand Dollar Beach Bag CAL is here…..

Merri Purdy, after 33 years of teaching, recently retired in December of 2018. She is currently living on Purdy Suite, a 42′ long sail boat, traversing the ocean. She has the pleasure of sailing and exploring with her husband Doug.  They have been exploring the Bahamas, sailing crossings ranging from a mere 6′ deep to an amazing 13,123′ deep. The differing depths of the water cause the colors to appear in hundreds of different shades, and has brought much inspiration to Merri, in her current passion of designing crochet patterns for bags!

  • She has been designing a series of bags from her travel adventures, as a way to relax at the end of the day, pass the time while sailing from one point to another, and to share her love of the us!

At the end of the day, Merri wants nothing more than to share her love of crochet with all of us. The Sand Dollar Beach Bag was designed and crocheted while visiting the Sand Dollar Beach, Great Exuma Island, Bahamas. .
