Cat Island Beach Bag by Merri Purdy

Here we are, April 8th, and this beautiful pattern has been released on Ravelry, AND, to top it off, Tania Leis has made the video tutorial for it.  No excuses not to make one.  Read through this post, if you have not already done so, and find the links below towards the end.  Enjoy your new bag, and share your photos.  Thank you Merri Purdy for sharing your talent with us.  Happy sailing!

Whether you made the Sand Dollar Beach bag or not, you will enjoy making this second beach bag by Merri Purdy.  The Cat Island Beach bag was inspired by a trip to Cat Island, which held a few weather related surprises.

See introduction, with beautiful scenic photos of what looks to be an amazing sailing trip.  I am just obsessed with the colors of the scenery!

Cat Island Beach Bag – Introduction

The CAL will begin on Monday, April 8th.  Be sure to join the event so that you will get notified as soon as pattern is released.  And, guess what??  There will also be a video for it, made by Tania Leis, who as you may know has been making videos for our FATW3 CAL.  Rest assured, you CAN do this.   Then once you complete your bag, please post your photos to the group.  We love to get inspiration from each other.
