Snowfall CAL – **Part 1**

Part 1 of the #SnowfallCAL2019 is here!!! Is it snowing outside in your neighborhood? It is in mine…. and now it’s snowing inside as well! Designer Jessica Wifall has brought us some amazing snowflakes to adorn our homes with. The possibilities for these snowflakes are endless.

These beauties have many uses:

  1. Ornaments
  2. Name tags for place settingsGift tags for packages 
  3. Addition to homemade Holiday cards 
  4. Decorations for cookie exchange plates
  5. Teacher Holiday gifts
  6. Garland for your mantel or window 
  7. Appliqué onto an apron or sweater

This CAL releases on December 1st with 2 patterns (one free and one paid) every 3 days. Here’s a look at the schedule:

  • MATERIALS NEEDED:
    • Crochet thread such as Aunt Lydia’s Classic Cotton Crochet Thread Size 10 or Scheepjes Sugar Rush (lace weight yarn is also acceptable)
    • Crochet hook size 8 US or 1.5 mm
    • scissors 
    • small tapestry needle
    • fabric stiffener such as Aleene’s Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid
    • Rust proof pins (T-pins recommended) and blocking foam or cardboard for stiffening
