Aztec Dreams CAL Sneak Peek and Intro

Who is in the mood for a new Tunisian CAL???? This amazing piece by Micki Devlin – Mims Creations, is the most amazing piece of Tunisian color work leading to an almost mosaic design. Minimal Tunisian Crochet knowledge is needed, however one MUST have a Tunisian hook with cable.

Aztec Dreams CAL is designed by Micki Devlin of Mims Designs and is definitely a “must do” if you are looking for a new Tunisian Crochet project or arewanting to learn to work Tunisian Crochet!!

This blanket is designed as a picnic blanket or sofa blanket as it is 3ft wide and almost 7 ft in length to give plenty of room to sit upon or cuddle under. It is worked in Tunisian Crochet and does require a hook with cable.

This will be presented as a 10 part CAL

MATERIALS: worsted weight yarn – 2 colors minimum

1000gr / 1800-2000 meters Main Color

1000gr / 1800-2000 meters Contrast Color

6mm Tunisian hook WITH CABLE

STITCHES USED:

TSS – Tunisian Simple Stitch

TPS – Tunisian Purl Stitch

I cannot wait to see what all of you will create with this amazing pattern!!!! You need one main color for – and then the sky is the limit on how many colors you use for the contrast color/colors.
