We made it! Week 6 and the final part for the uniquely gorgeous Jahanara Shawl has now been released. This was truly a highlight and a spot of beauty to have around these past weeks. On behalf of the CAL Crochet Along team, we sincerely thank Saleha Waseem of Crochet Karma for sharing this beautiful pattern with all of us. She led us on an incredible journey, introduced us to the allure of Pakistan where she is from, and shared a lot of information about a powerful Sufi Princess, Jahanara, where she got the inspiration for this shawl/wrap from. And, on top of that, we walk away with a precious gift, the gift of friendship around the world, and a spectacular shawl. We cannot wait to see more of her designs and look forward to working with her again in the future.
Our testers have been wonderful throughout the testing process and shared their creative talents in choosing their colors with us. Here are the completed shawls.
We are so thankful that Tania Leis has shared her talent in making the videos so that more people could participate. We all work and learn in a different way and having a video to support us really boosts our confidence to learn something new. So once again, we share her video of the next part, the last part, Par 6:
Please continue to share your photos on our event page. We enjoy seeing them all and it can help someone else when making a color selection.

Personally, I have enjoyed making this shawl so much, that I made two of them. Even if you have not already made one, it is not too late.
Til we meet again,
