FATW5 – Week 14 – Albuquerque

Week 14 brings us back to the United States…. and Jessica Wifall has designed 2 squares for the Friend’s Around the World CAL. This week the design is: Albuquerque, and you will have to stop back in next week to see what city Jessica brings us to next week!!

As you may recall, Jessica is the designer behind the Baby Henry’s Designer Heirloom CAL which was hosted by the CAL – Crochet A Long group. We watched our members bring this stunning piece to life. Jessica created the stunning “smash-up” for her son – Henry – as a blanket for him to treasure later in life….. after he has used it for countless hours of playtime and nap time memories.

I must say that I personally created a Baby Henry….. and I am simply amazed at the innovative ways that Jessica created such an amazing piece, using 3 well known designer’s patterns and her own creative slip stitch joins and additional rounds to make it all fit together seamlessly.

After the truly amazing Baby Henry Designer Heirloom CAL, came the SnowfallCAL2019 and the truly stunning snowflakes that fluttered their way through our newsfeed and Instagram just in time for Christmas and the winter holidays.

And now….. Albuquerque, one of Jessica’s favorite cities…. has been turned into an awesome square for the FATW5 CAL!!!

And now on to the important part…..
