Ashlee’s Abstract Queen Interlocking and Mosaic CAL

Have you seen the amazing patterns by Ashlee? The Interlocking Crochet designs that she creates are simply stunning. As you may recall…. I advertised for her Father’s Day CAL in our Facebook Group….. and it was a smashing hit! So I’m sure that you all would love to see what’s coming next!!!!

Let me introduce the Abstract Queen Interlocking and Mosaic CAL which will start September 1, 2020.

Ashlee has completed two Crochet-A-Longs (CALs) in whirlwind time! This new CAL will be a queen-size blanket, although tension and yarn weight will affect how large yours turns out. She would like to make sure that you have time to gather your supplies and get ready for this one piece (no sewing squares together!) CAL.

Emily crocheted the sample shown in the above photograph, using the interlocking technique.

Chart is 359 x 321 = 115,239 stitches!

Finished size 90” x 80” (Queen plus drape)

4.5 mm hook (US7)

SUPPLIES:

The Interlocking / LFM pattern:

Worsted weight yarn (8250 yards total)

Main color (MC) – 4100 yards plus 50 yards for optional border

Accent color (AC) – 4100 yards

Gauge: 4 DC x 2 rows = 1”

The mosaic version:

Worsted weight yarn (9220 yards total)

Main color (MC) – 4610 yards

Coordinating color (CC) – 4610 yards

Gauge: 16 sc by 16 rows = 4″
