Well, you’ve made it to the final week of Crackers2Candycanes! This week we are making a candy cane. Micki then gives us options on how to join the squares. Will you sew them together? Or will you crochet them together like Micki prefers? Crocheting them together gives the Afghan a little dimension. There are many ways to join, so pick the one that you like best and join them into a bit of Holiday CHEER!
After you’ve completed the last square and joined all 9 squares, you will be ready for the border. Micki suggests using the candy cane border as it fits well with the CAL. All of our testers have used this as well you you’ll be able to see how it looks before you decide. You will find all the info for the last square and the join and border suggestions HERE.
Please be sure to post your finished project in our “group” and in our “photo album” and don’t forget to use the following hashtags: #mimsdesigns #crackers2candycanescal #crackers2candycaneschristmascal
I hope you’ve enjoyed making this fun, easy and fast Christmas CAL! It’s sure to be a great addition to your holiday decorating for years to come.
