Welcome to the “Friends Around the World 6 – Adventures in Mosaic Crochet CAL” which begins here! For this year, Friends Around the World (FATW6), there are three blankets in all, with the themes of the Ocean, Geometric and Garden Party.
OCEAN THEME
The Ocean Adventure awaits you! There are many delightful things to see, from the bottom of the ocean, all the way to the very top. Come join us as we explore the ocean and make a beautiful souvenir during this adventure. All you need is a hook and yarn and you will have a “whale of a time.” Happy sailing ahead.

One of the great things about this CAL is that it is a great stash buster! There is so much you can do to make this uniquely yours. As each of the strips is to be worked continuously, there is no additional joining afterwards. And those ends, well they are going to be hidden in the border so there is nothing to worry about there. Therefore, when your blanket is finished, there is no going back to hide ends.
