The Wish-ghan by Junianne Winter is here!!! This amazing c2c is the 3rd creation by Julianne….. AND it is not only a fabulous design – it is designed from a BOOK….. oh and wait! Not just any book….. a book written and illustrated by…. yep! You guessed it – JULIANNE!!!!

Whimsy would love to share the details of her story…… Tales of Whimsy: Book One: Wishweaver by Julianne Winter, which is available on Amazon HERE, with this blanket being the perfect project to add to your bedtime story (along with Whimsy and Flit amigurumi – which you can find a free pattern for HERE) while reading the chapter book with your little……

  • 5 – Squares
  • 10 – Rectangles (of all sizes!)
  • 1 – Large Center Square (the size of 4 smaller squares together)

The small squares are 20×20. The rectangles range from 20×40, 20×60, 10×80! Like I said, all sizes of rectangles will be made in this one! The largest rectangle is a whopping 10×130 squares!

We’ll start from the most basic designs, that have less color changes, and work our way to the large Whimsy + the Boys center square and the long Ivy Borders! The files for each pattern will be attached to the posts in PDF format for easy download.

The first square will begin next Wednesday, March 24, 2021, and we’ll have a square/rectangle due out every Wednesday after that. This blanket will take us through mid-July!

There are links to the full pattern should you wish to just jump in and work until completed, ahead of the CAL, a small fee will purchase 70 pages of full detailed instructions in an ad free format. Available on Etsy and Ravelry.

Be sure to pop on over to the Ink and Stitches Blog and have a look around…. and check out the rest of the details and yarn requirements for this awesome cal!

Until next time,

Happy Crocheting,
