This week we have by Julianne Winter of Ink & Stitches.
As Julianne explains: wisps are the little seedlings from the milkweed plant. When the pods break open in the end of summer, these gentle wisps are released to take their ride on the wind before settling into their new place in the ground. It is a beautiful life cycle. Do you remember making wishes on these little seedlings and releasing them into the wind as a child? With hopes that your wish would come true and that the little wisp you wished upon would carry your wish where it needed to go to come true!
