We are so privileged to have another Snowflake CAL by Jessica Wifall again this year! The Snowfall 2019 CAL brought a flurry of beautiful photos to our Facebook Group and we cannot wait to see this year’s creations as they release from November 12 to November 22!
Here’s a bit about Jessica and how she came to be a part of the crochet design world:
I was born, raised, and live in Tucson, AZ, in the United States. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys. I have a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Arizona. Until my oldest was born, I designed machines that assisted in cancer diagnostics. Now I care for my two beautiful sons full time.
My grandmother taught me to crochet and knit when I was young, however, I did very little with yarn until late 2014 when I decided to crochet a hat for a Christmas exchange. Then I decided to crochet a blanket and from there it became my primary hobby. I like to create things and enjoy seeing a project come together into a finished piece. The laundry will have to be done again tomorrow, dinner will just be more cleanup in an hour, but when I make a blanket someone will treasure it forever.
In addition to crochet and knitting I enjoy painting, travel with my family, science fiction, boardgames, and random other arts and crafts.
Jessica has hosted some previous CAL’s with us here at CAL – Crochet A Long. Perhaps you will remember the Baby Henry’s Designer Heirloom CAL, or the Snowfall CAL 2019. She has also participated in the FATW5 CAL with Tucson Square and Albuquerque Square, and of course her recent contribution to FATW6 CAL and her first Mosaic creation: Zig Zaggy Mosaic Panel. She also has a beautiful stand alone square (which a little buddy has told me will become part of a full sized blanket eventually!!!!!) The Epic Quest Square.
And my personal FAVORITES:
Each release will have a FREE pattern and a PAID pattern. During the CAL patterns will only be released on Ravelry, each release will be one free and one paid pattern, for a total of 12 patterns.
